This was a required textbook for class and surely wouldn't have been on my personal list to purchase (as there are so many other books out there). Much of this book can be confusing because there is much missing - i.e. written agreements and notifications and the author simply writes, "notifications'. It was quite confusing. That being said, I gave it three stars because of the useful and insightful case studies.

I thought this was a well written text. It was written in such a way that i could easily comprehend the information; it gives plenty of case studies that help 1. to see what a counselor might come across and 2. give helpful explanations of what should or shouldn't be done in that case.The paper is good quality. i bought the student edition for this book and another one and the other one's paper rips too easily. this one doesnt so it gets good reviews for that.It has a good layout and i appreciated that it doesn't read like a typical boring textbook.

Great book. Provides scenarios and discussions of the scenario afterward (rather than just posing a scenario and not discussing it like most textbooks do). It is really comprehensive and takes a realistic approach to law and ethics in counseling. I think this is a must read for anyone entering the field.

This had excellent information and I really enjoyed the examples. But I felt as if there were points in the book where it was more of an advertising forum for the author's Counseling Association than for ethics itself.

Required for a masters level class. It was well written and full of stories to make the info a bit more interesting. I rented it, but it would be a great reference book to keep as well.

A great text that prompts one to consider all aspects of ethics in counseling, from starting a private practice, to billing, to counseling families. Highly recommend this book, and it's definitely one I will keep as an invaluable resource in considering future ethical issues.

It uses clear examples to illustrate the issue at hand. The language is fairly simple as well.

The textbook is very good, but I am frustrated that I am unable to open it on the devices I utilize. Especially since I had to restore my iPad, and now I am getting a message that I have maximized the allowable devices. It was on the device to begin with!!!! Once a purchase is completed, this material should be mine to use as I wish.

Meanwhile at House Ursa Klaue is contemplating the wedding invitation he;s received. He did accept with the plus one. Then Kincaid, the new Hunter of House Ursa bangs on his door and tells him to move his tush since they have to go meet Klaue;s mate. Now that is disturbing news since Klaue has no mate. very good and fast

I bought this book because I am working on a carburetor to fuel injection conversion for my classic car. I was hoping this book would give me some insight into the actual tuning process of an EFI system once the conversion had been made. Instead, this book spends a great deal of time covering "Basic Electronics" (ie. Volts, Amps, Ohms), the "Tools and Equipment" (ie Multimeter,fuel pressure gauge) all of the components of an EFI system (ie. coolant temp sensor, o2 sensor, TPS) and describes them in great detail. Then there are a few short pages in the middle of the book in a section called "Tuning Maps and Basic Engine Calibration". This is where I was hoping to gain a little insight but the book stays so close to the side of the theoretical, it really doesn't give any more clues on how this would actually be done. I understand that each car, engine and ECU combination is unique and no book could ever cover every combination, but I was hoping to have a better footing when I delve into the tuning of my EFI system. Finally, when that short section is over, with half the book to go, the rest of the pages are devoted to advertising (pgs 57-126)! This may be where this book is best suited or certainly where the most effort was devoted. If you can't decided whether to buy the Accel, Autotronic, Edelbrock or Holley ECU, then this book will help you with the different offerings from each of a bout 11 different companies. Once you've made your choice however, good luck with the setup. You're on your own from there. Just like guess and check with needles and jets on the carb I just got rid of!

This book is a must if you are thinking about updating your Carburator system to EFI. It goes from what tools you will need through the different sensors that are required and has detailted descriptions of many of the aftermarket EFI systems available.

For someone getting into EFI, this book offers a good starting point. It'll get you familiar with the nuts and bolts of EFI by naming and describing various sensors, inputs and outputs that a modern ECU offers. However, for someone thinking of learning how to actually tune a car on the street or the dyno, the information is lacking. More information about dynos, how to monitor sensors, what changes to make in maps, etc would've been appreciated.

what i like the most about the book is how easy it is to understand what they are talking about,some of the other books i have read use too many words in which i have to pull out the dictionary to understand,this book is simple and straight forward.i would recomend it to any body that is new at the new efi world that is coming from the old school of carburated v8's.enjoy and learn.

Great book. Very detailed. Volume, cube and flow formula's, plus many more. Maybe a bit deep for beginners, and LOTS of Banks stuff (if you're into that).

I expected this book to talk about the original EFI system your car came with, But it suggests you go out and spend a fortune for an aftermarket EFI, and talks only about tuning them.

Ms Golob is one of the best and most respected of all competition shooters. Her writing style is a clean and clear as her shooting. I write instruction books, procedures and directions for various items & circumstances. I am also new to completion shooting. SHOOT really does combine the best of CLEAR instruction with what a shooter needs to KNOW. Picking up a weapon is VERY SERIOUS business just to start with because IT, the gun, is intimidating. There is NO margin for error. I say 1) Read this book first, 2) watch A Lot of Ms Golob's YouTube videos, 3) attend THE BEST and HIGHEST CERTIFIED classes you can: do Beginning, in-class & range, (repeat it if they will allow you to), 4) Take a couple of PRIVATE LESSONS from a Certified Instructor, 5) (Take a deep breath) Go to the range & PRACTICE! 6) Join your local gun club (these are really nice folks), 7) READ *SHOOT* A 2nd TIME!!! (Why? ---> FUNDAMENTAL SKILLS take time to build. Get exposure in EVERY safe form you can!! REPETITION of GOOD SAFETY SKILLS are PARAMOUNT!! 8) ( Take 2 deep breaths ) Sign up for & enter your gun club competition fun/ sport day! Go ahead, you can do it!! Just tell them you are new and ask for their help. The more experienced club members will step right up to your side! Yup, they will. Guaranteed.Keep this book, SHOOT, handy. Read the safety rules & fundamentals Aoften. Build good skills. Safety FIRST--> for YOU & EVERYBODY ELSE. Your SAFETY skills will ALWAYS be more important than your shooting skills.This book didn't get into my hands until after my first competition. I stopped & read this book. I was so impressed that I started immediately and read it again. I wanted to get this information on every level: repeatedly. I wish I had started competition shooting A L O N G time ago. It is great fun! It builds confidence and self respect for energy IN = consistently better and more refined results. And the folks who are involved in shooting & gun clubs are the nicest folks I've met in ages! C'mon, join us!!

While this book isn’t a deep reference for anyone with experience, I have found it to be one of the better books to recommend to young ladies who have no previous exposure to the shooting sports. The book is not specific to ladies and works equally well for young men who ask for an introduction. There is a very good overview description of all the different types of formal and informal shooting sports, but especially firearms. The volume just brushes on the air gun world or archery, but that doesn’t detract from what it does for pistols, rifles, and shotguns. It gives a good perspective to those who are starting from scratch and even those who have some experience in one or two areas but not the others. She then does a good job of introducing how to get started in general, with basics and fundamentals that are common to static and moving targets of all kinds, and good descriptions of equipment and rules. A good volume for kids with no family background and even those with at least a limited background.

If you are remotely interested in the looking into the action shooting sports, buy this.It is very well written and it was exactly what I was needing.Julie Golob uses plain language (doesn't talk above your head w/ shooter's lingo) and encourages you to research the sport.

What can you say? This book is a great intro into the world of competitive shooting. I just couldn't stand still in a lane and punch holes in paper any longer. I love shooting, but was getting bored. I have begin doing some local matches and with the help of this book I am learning a ton. Read this if you want to get into competitive shooting. Read this if you love America! Just read it!

Very well writen, very knowledgeable. Written for novice women. Julie obviously wrote this for women interested in defensive shooting and shooting sports. If your a novice and want to get an understanding of competition shooting this book is for you. Julie covers beginning gun handling and all the basic you will need for competition shooting.

If you're new to the shooting sports or just want some guidance as to your next steps, this is a must read. Julie shares her vast knowledge in an easy and fun to read book that educates as it entertains. From seasoned pros to first time shooters, there's something in here for everybody.

Not for the seasoned shooter, but very well written, and easy to understand for new shooter. Would definitely recommend for anyone new to the shooting world.Wish it would have been more geared to the competitive shooter.
